- Notas: Las canción se articula como un diálogo entre dos partes (aunque ambas las cante el mismo cantante con la misma voz). Por un lado tenemos la gente de fondo que mira a alguien con envidia por la buena vida que tiene, y  por otro este se defiende indicando que las cosas no son tan bonitas como creen y que su vida está llena de dificultades y problemas. Sería algo así como un diálogo entre el cantante y sus admiradores que consideran que lleva una vida perfecta a la que miran con envidia.

- 1. “…grass is always greener over there …” = Es una adaptación de la expresión “the grass is always greener on the other side” que se usa para indicar que a todos nos parece que lo que tienen los demás, o incluso la vida que llevan es mejor que la nuestra.

- 2. “…Stay out of my shoes …” = De nuevo, otra adaptación de una expresión “to be in my shoes”, que se usa para indicar el ponerse en el lugar de otro antes de juzgar sus acciones. Aquí el cantante les pide que no se pongan en su lugar ni le envidien tanto porque se llevarían una sorpresa desagradable.
- 3. “…wish ourselves away …” = El phrasal “to wish away” es difícil de traducir, puesto que significa el desear algo que no es positive. Se usa para indicar el esconder la cabeza como el avestruz deseando que las cosas pasen sin que tengamos que hacer nada por nuestra parte, o para indicar el desperdiciar la vida por no tomar las riendas de esta.
