- Notas: Si bien, a primera vista, parece tratarse de una simple canción que invita al baile, este baile es una metáfora de la vida. Así, el “baile” del que se habla es el fingir ser feliz cuando en la realidad uno se siente infeliz por la vida que lleva. Por eso habla de los “red shoes” que se contrapondrían a los “blue shoes”, en el que “blue” hace referencia al color de la tristeza o depresión. Es por tanto una invitación a fingir que se es feliz.
- 1. “…sway …” = Como alternativa al “dance” el cantante opta por “sway”, que se usa para hablar de “balancearse”, que en este caso se refiere a un balanceo melodioso como si fuera un baile.
