- Notas: Esta es la canción de una mujer que tristemente sigue esperando el regreso de la persona a la que ama (a la que se refiere como “the Captain of her heart”), aunque la atmosfera de la canción indica que ese reencuentro nunca va a tener lugar y con el nuevo día se pondrá fin a la espera.
- 1. “…drift away…” = Este es el phrasal que se usa para indicar que una embarcación va a la deriva siendo arrastrando por las corrientes marinas que le llevaran en una dirección determinada sin que se pueda hacer nada por cambiar dicho rumbo.
