- Notas: Según la autora, la canción va sobre la vida, como todo el mundo tiene sus sueños y busca conseguirlos (“everybody is looking for something”) pese a los problemas que nos encontramos y que intentan hacernos desistir. De ahí lo del “hold your head up” para exhortar a levantarse y seguir adelante cuando uno sufre reveses en la vida. Por otro lado, uno acaba encontrándose con todo tipo de gente, tanto los que van a intentar usarnos (“to use you”) o tratarnos mal (“to abuse you”), como aquellos que serán usado (“to get used by you”) o maltratados (“to be abused”) por nosotros mismo.
