- Notas: Como los mismos componentes del grupo indicaron: “Stayin’ Alive” es una canción que trata sobre lo duro que puede llegar a ser vivir en una ciudad como Nueva York y el efecto de desgaste que este ritmo de vida puede tener en sus habitantes. Se presenta Nueva York como un lugar en el que hay que luchar por sobrevivir al estrés de la vida diaria.

- 1. “…I get high…” = “High” se usa para referirse a estados de alegría exagerados, en ocasiones ocasionados por tomar drogas que te pongan en situación de “subidón” y en otras ocasiones porque uno se encuentra de tan buen humor y optimista que se llega a crecer capaz de todo.
- 2. “…Got the wings of heaven on my shoes…” = El protagonista de la canción se dedica al baile, por lo que en la pista de baile se mueve como si tuviera en los zapatos alas celestiales que le permitieran bailar muy bien.
