- Notas: La canción se compuse para la pelicula “Golden eye”, de James Bond. Hay varias versiones sobre el sentido de esta canción. Por un lado tenemos la que dice que la canción habla de la relación entre James Bond y una mujer que siempre le ha considerado un hombre cargado de misterio y no piensa parar hasta conseguir tenerlo para ella. La otra indica que más que tratar sobre James Bond, trata sobre Pierce Brosnan, el actor que le da vida en esta película. Según parece, este actor desde pequeño siempre quiso acabar encarnando el papel de James Bond (“I watched you from the shadows as a child” donde las “shadows” es la oscuridad del cine donde veía las películas de James Bond). De hecho tuvo una primera oportunidad que no pudo llevarse a cabo por sus obligaciones contractuales con la serie Remington Steel (“how it feels to get so close and be denied”), viéndose obligado a esperar hasta que salió esta nueva entrega.

- 1. “…lace…” = Se usa para hablar de “encaje”, sobretodo de ropa interior femenina de esa que se arranca a dentelladas en los momentos de pasión.
- 2. “…sights…” = Los “sights” son los elementos de puntería de un arma de fuego.
