- Notas: El tema de la canción es complicado, aunque la referencia a “Maria Magdalena”, la supuesta prostituta arrepentida de la Biblia es clara. La canción estaría contada desde el punto de vista de una mujer que parece ser una prostituta (“a creature of the night”) de la que se ha enamorado alguien. La cantante intenta convencer a ese alguien que no va a cambiar (no va a convertirse en la prostituta arrepentida) y por ello no tiene ningún sentido buscar nada con ella porque la historia no iba a funcionar.
- 1. “…alibis…” = El “alibi” es la coartada que el malo de la película tiene para que el juez no pueda meterle en la cárcel. En este caso el “alibi” es simplemente una excusa para justificar sus acciones.
