and I felt a yearning for that great adventure.

- Notas: Aunque no lo parezca, se trata de una banda alemana que tomó el nombre de una pequeña bahía de la isla caribeña de Santa Lucia. Esa obsesión por esos lugares se ve en esta canción de un hombre que siempre soñó con Jamaica tras ver películas de esas en blanco y negro, al final se va para allá, se enamora y se promete volver para instalarse allí para siempre como los virus cuando se instalan en mi ordenador.

- 1. “…Malaika…” = La palabra no suene a inglesa, de hecho es swahili y significa “angel” y se usa para referirse a una chica atractiva. ¿Qué pinta un término swahili en Jamaica? Ni idea.

- 2. “…yearning…” = Cuando uno desea algo con todas sus fuerzas, hasta el punto de ansiarlo, soñar con eso y casi rayar la obsesión, ese añorar se expresa con el verbo “to yearn”.

- 3. “…swaying…” = El “swaying” es ese movimiento de balanceo que hacen cosas como el trigo en los campos cuando sopla viento, o las palmeras antes de soltar un coco sobre la cocorota de un turista que decidió dormir la siesta allí abajo.
- 4. “…fateful…” = “Fateful” se usa para hablar de días, momento o hechos que son aciagos, funestos, o extremadamente malos, aunque no creo que sea el sentido de esta canción. Se puede usar para hablar de días decisivos en los que se alinearon los astros y uno siente como muy importantes en la vida de uno.
