- Notas: Esta es una canción que tiene una doble lectura. Si la tomamos de modo literal, habla de una persona (o varias) que han sido rechazadas por no estar a la altura social que la otra persona espera, a lo que se reacciona con el "fuck you!" para mostrar el rechazo a dicha persona.
Sin embargo, si buscamos una interpretación más sutil, y tal como reveló el cantante, la canción no habla de una relación entre personas sino entre el cantante y el mundo de la música al que parece que es imposible de satisfacer por completo y que siempre exige más y más por mucho que uno de lo mejor de sí mismo.
- 1. “…change…” = Esto es el "cambio" o "dinero suelto" que una persona suele llevar encima. En la canción se usa para exagerar el hecho de no tener dinero suficiente para satisfacer las pretensiones de la chica de sus sueños.
- 2. “…golddigger…” = Es un insulto aplicado a las personas que mantienen relaciones de pareja o incluso se casan con la clara intención de hacer uso del dinero de su pareja, sin que haya ningún sentimiento real por la otra persona.
- 3. “…wanna…” = Es la transcripción de una contracción usada muy coloquialmente que equivale a "want to".
- 4. “…ain't…” = Es la transcripción de una contracción usada muy coloquialmente que equivale a "is not".
