- Notas: 

El título deja bastante claro el tema de la canción: Una relación que no va a ningún lado pese a haberlo intentado con todas sus fuerzas (“there’s nothing lef to try”). Ha llegado el momento de despertarse, romper el hechizo (“the spell has been broken”), aprender a decir no, aceptar que de la relación solo sale dolor (“there’s no more heart to bruise”) y seguir adelante con sus vidas por separado. A partir de esa ruptura empieza una nueva vida (“creation comes when you learn to say no”).
- 1. “…yearn…” = “To yearn” es de esos verbos raros que se escuchan poco o nada y que posiblemente Madonna haya tenido que buscar para hacer que le cuadre la letra de la canción. Significa “anhelar” o “desear con muchas ganas”.
