- Notas: 

Esta canción la compusieron para la película “Man in the moon”, la película biográfica de Andy Kaufman, un showman y cómico americano muy excéntrico que fue bastante incomprendido pese a su fama. La canción se mete un poco en la mente de Andy Kaufman y el esfuerzo sobrehumano que tenía que hacer para encontrar cosas que fueran novedosas y sorprendieran. “The great beyond” es “la vida después de la muerte” y se usa para indicar que ni es esta vida se puede llegar a entender el esfuerzo al que está sometido para poder brillar. 
- 1. “…There is nothing up my sleeve…” = Los tramposo se guardan siempre un as debajo de la manga (“up the sleeve”). Esta frase se usa aquí para indicar que ya no le quedan trucos o recursos que sacar porque ya lo ha dado todo.
- 2. “…punch lines…” = Las “punch lines” son la frases que se cuentan al final de un chiste o una historia y que constituyen el desenlace que lo explica todo.
- 3. “…hummingbirds…” = Los “hummingbirds” son los colibrís, esos pájaros que no se pueden hacer a la plancha porque están protegidos.
