- Notas: La canción trata sobre una mujer que acusa al cantante de ser el padre de su hijo, y el cantante lo niega repitiéndose más que el pepino con majonesa. Según algunas versiones la canción se basa en algo que le sucedió al hermano mayor de Michael cuando lo Jackson 5 estaban de moda, y según otras versiones hubo una demente que acusaba a Michael de ser el padre de uno de sus dos hijos gemelos y que le mandaba cartas amenazadoras e incluso le mandó una pistola proponiéndole suicidarse simultáneamente, tras lo cual la señora acabó en un hospital psiquiátrico (suena a tan verídico como lo de que el hombre ha aterrizado en la Luna en calzoncillos y los extraterrestres nos han prohibido regresar sin visado o permiso de residencia).

- 1. “…caused a scene…” = Lo normal es usar el giro “to make a scene” o “to create a scene” para hablar de montar una escena o dar el espectáculo con una discusión o algo que hace que nos convirtamos en el centro de atención de quien nos rodea, pero se puede usar también “to cause a scene” aunque se oiga menos que las anteriores. Esta versión pone énfasis en que es la otra persona quien la monta y nosotros somos la victima paciente.
- 2. “…am the one…” = Lo de “to be the one” se usa mucho para hablar de esa persona que sentimos que es la persona de nuestra vida, nuestra media naranja, ese ser místico que ya fue pensado por Dios para nosotros antes de crear el universo.
