- Notas: La canción habla de abandonarse al amor cuando se ha encontrado a la persona adecuada y dejar de perder el tiempo con vacilaciones o miedos porque la vida es corta y hay que aprovechar las oportunidades cuando las tenemos al alcance de la mano.

- 1. “…done me in…” = El phrasal “to do in” equivale a “agotar” o “reventar” a alguien, es decir, dejarlo hecho polvo de puro cansancio o por agotamiento emocional.

- 2. “…the cool done run out…” = “To run out” es “acabarse” o “agotarse”, es decir, “que ya no nos quede más de algo”, y en este caso lo que se ha agotado es el “cool” o “calma” que uno mantiene en todo tipo de situación.

- 3. “…bestest…” = El superlativo de good es “best”, y en lenguaje coloquial alguno intentan hacer el superlativo del superlativo y de ahí surge la idea de “bestest” que se usa de vez en cuando pero es gramaticalmente incorrecto.

- 4. “…reckon…” = Es un verbo que se usa apara indicar el admitir o considerar que algo es cierto.

- 5. “…scooch…” = Es un verbo de movimiento consistente en ir de cuclillas o agachado como cuando tenemos que pasar por debajo de un obstaculo.

- 6. “…nibble…” = “To nibble” es dar mordisquitos a algo, tanto para comérselo como cuando se dan mordisquitos a la pareja como muestra de afecto.

- 7. “…fogged up…” = Cuando le tiramos el aliento a un cristal este se cubre de humedad empañándose. La acción de empañarse haciendo difícil ver lo que hay al otro lado se expresa con el phrasal “to fog up”, por eso de que el cristal queda recubierto por una especie de niebla (“fog”) que impide una visión clara.
- 7. “…to rid yourself of…” = Con “to rid” se habla de deshacerse o librarse de algo o de alguien.
