- Notas: La canción habla de la soledad vivida por la protagonista, la cual anhela la compañía de un hombre que la acompañe en los momentos nocturnos y que dote a su vida de sentido. Llega a compararse con las protagonistas de las películas que siempre tienen un final feliz que a ella no le acaba de llegar.
- 1. “…gloom…” = Aquí la canción juega con el doble sentido de la palabra "gloom", que se usa para referirse a la penumbra, pero también a la melancolía, que la cantante llega incluso a ver con sus propios ojos por lo reales que son para ella.
 - 2. “…gaze…” = El "gaze" es una mirada caracterizada por tener una duración larga, o por se especialmente intensa, equivalente a nuestra "mirada fija" en el horizonte o en una situación que se está desarrollando frente a nuestros ojos.
