- Notas: Rihanna es famosa por tener malas relaciones personales y acabar cantando sobre ellas. Esta canción y la de “We found love” habla sobre su relación con Chris Brown. Esta relación era insana y acabo mal y ambos miembros de la pareja estuvieron a punto de caer en el mundo de las drogas.

En esta canción habla describe a Chris Brown como a una estrella que brilla en el firmamento como si fuera una estrella, y cuando ella está con él, ella también brilla.

- 1. “…shooting star…” = Esta es la denominación que se da a las “estrellas fugaces” que de estrellas tienen menos que un caballito de mar. Al igual que las estrellas fugaces causan sorpresa y maravillan por su breve existencia, Chris Brown causó el mismo efecto en Rihanna.
- 2. “…moonshine and molly…” = El “moonshine” es el alcohol ilegal de la “ley seca” que se fabricaba en alambiques caseros en el bosque bajo la luz de la luna (de ahí lo de “moonshine”). El “molly” es una expresión coloquial para referirse al “éxtasis”, la droga esa. La cantante y Chris Brown por lo visto estaban en la gloria cuando bebían como cosacos y se ponían hasta el culo de drogas.
